Founding enthusiast Diane Jose has been involved with horses all her life.
"My Grandmother introduced me to the love of horses as she was a keen Racehorse owner and breeder. By the time I was 14 I had purchased my first pony which was a big achievement being a "City Kid". My love of ponies has never dwindled and when I first saw the Riding Pony breed at the Royal Melbourne show in mid 80's I felt I had found my calling. I could accommodate my love of the elegance of the T/B into the size of a pony. I purchased my first Riding Pony mare in 1988 her name was Operina Playtime and she was sired by the immortal Rotherwood Acrobat. Unfortunately "Chloe" sustained a mysterious show career changing eye injury and in 1990 our first RP foal with the Salisbury prefix was born, Salisbury Grace O'Moncao.
